How to lay bricks
The bricks are laid with a mandatory offset of the seams (also called dressing) of the upper row relative to the lower one. The width of the seam varies from eight to ten millimeters.
On top of the waterproofing, you can begin laying out the brick pillars according to the established pattern with mandatory alignment vertically and horizontally. Before laying, the brick is dipped in water so that it does not absorb moisture from the solution and does not complicate the work of the master.
The second and third rows are laid in the same way, after which every third row is laid on the reinforcing mesh. This technique guarantees excellent strength indicators for the fence.
Installing the fence
Install the pillar elements on a cement mortar up to 1.5 cm thick. Lay a reinforcing masonry mesh every 2-4 rows with an outlet into the masonry.
Fill the voids of the first blocks with mortar. Lay each subsequent row with an offset of about a third in relation to the previous one. Check the evenness of the masonry with a level. Add a mesh every two rows for strength.
Remove excess mortar immediately.
Cover the unfinished fence with a film.
It is recommended to treat the finished fence with a hydrophobic solution.
